Our Journey

Getting our products to our consumer is a journey that transcends multiple stages and partners with many different workstreams across the island.

FARM Work with local farmers at Bantu Asili farm to ethically farm organic & native spices to the island We organically farm our herbs and spices at Bantu Asili farm to ensure that from source to end product our cosmetic goods comply with permaculture principles from the onset. We work with local farmers to produce the herbs and spices used to curate our cosmetic goods.
CRAFT Work with Zanzibari artisans to craft our island products full of herbal surprises As Zanzibar is still a small island we work with local artisans to hand make each of our products and ensure that we apply the same Spyced touch. We standardize the way we produce each piece, but every item is made with the attention of local artisan care.
Spice Sprinkle with island magic All of our products are sprinkled with a touch of Island magic, the variety of herbs and spices that we envelope into our products are generously infused into our cosmetic goods, to ensure that piced delivers some Zanzibar island magic back to our customers.
Package Wrap up and deliver our products to you to consume We use sustainable packaging sourced from Mainland East Africa to wrap our goods in and get them to you. We love giving back to people on the island through work opportunities, offering health benefits to the customer through our products and also by looking after the environment and minimizing waste with our choice of packaging.
